I’ve wanted to start a blog for the longest time and actually had one about 15 years ago, before life got in the way. Lately I’ve noticed that so many people have blogs and decided it’s time to take the plunge again, as I embark on this writing adventure.

The goal isn’t to post my status or complain about life – Facebook works just fine for that – but to share what I am learning as I travel the road of life. And to try to do so regularly, to build this writing habit.

The blog name – The Word Woman – comes from (1) my love for writing and reading and (2) my love for God’s Word, the Bible. Even if I am the only one to read this blog, I’m excited to try something new!
